For the last two decades, in the rural heartlands of Punjab, the elected leadership of a small village has done nothing to develop the community, instead engaging in corrupt and harmful practices. To save his home and combat pressing issues, Fateh steps up to take charge and run for the position of Sarpanch (village head), which forces him to confront intense opposition.
