Karla Sofía Gascón

Karla Sofía Gascón (born 31 March 1972) is an award-winning Spanish actress. She has appeared in several telenovelas and films, including El Señor de los Cielos, The Noble Family and Emilia Pérez. She has received numerous awards for her breakthrough performance in Emilia Pérez, including the Best Actress award at the Cannes International Film Festival, Best International Actress at the Venice Film Festival alongside BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild, Critics' Choice, Golden Globe, and Academy Award nominations, becoming the first openly trans actress to do so.
