The hero travels to a space station in a spacecraft to rescue the heroine, who is stranded aboard the station in outer space. He successfully rescues her.Docking against all odds, he rushed inside to embrace her, only for critical alarm klaxons to blare as the station’s vital life-support arrays began to catastrophic failure. Stepping directly into the terrifying void of zero gravity, he braved cosmic radiation and manual repair hazards to fix the exterior hull, successfully stabilizing the station just seconds before total structural collapse. Exhausted but triumphant, he repressurized the airlock and stepped back inside to embrace his love only to freeze in utter horror as he found the cabin bone-empty, leaving only a lingering holographic echo fading into thin air.
